They are looking for a Software Engineer with at least 4 years experience to join their team in Hamilton. Along with 4 years experience in a similar position you will also have First-rate C Programming skills with a clear and concise documentation coding style Industry experience of Ddk for Windows and in general low level programming and accessing hardware devices via configuration and register spaces Ability to Design and Develop cross platform Api s (multiple operating systems) Working knowledge of Ip based networking protocols Atm protocols is a bonus Excellent debugging skills and cross platform development Bachelor in Computer Science Electronics or equivalent You will be required to co-ordinate with Firmware and Hardware Engineers on joint projects as well as independently. Strong oral and written English is a must have for this role as is firm analytical and problem solving skills. The purpose of this role is to contribute to the development of drivers Api s and applications software for the client s products mainly on a Windows and cross-platform environment therefore you will have an in-depth knowledge of systems programming and device driver s.
