Description
Our client is need of an Analyst Programmer to be responsible for development implementation and support of mainframe and midrange applications. Your responsibilities will include Adapting and verifying mainframe C Db2 programs to work on an Aix Db2 midrange platform Unit testing batch programs Working closely with the Dba to ensure programs are efficiently tuned Performing analysis of changes problems and application enhancements Developing or modifying programs Updating documentation as required Ensuring the version control of changes is effectively managed Developing Unix scripts. To be successful at this role you will have at least 3 years experience in C programming in a Unix Db2 (or Oracle Pro C) environment and strong Sql skills. Understanding of Xml and working in the development and support of large It systems would be considered highly desirable.
