I have an excellent role with my client a leading company based in Sydney. With a huge raft of projects in place for 2008 and 2009 they are now looking to hire a candidate to perform the role of Project Officer Data Analyst. I am looking for a candidate who possesses absolutely first class written and verbal English communication skills for this position. You will be dealing with all levels of my clients business so excellent and a flexible communication style in mandatory. In addition to this this role entails reportwriting and documentation so an eye for detail and an excellent command of the english language is essential. On a technical level i am looking for graduate calibre applicants ideally with an It Business Systems related qualification. On a technical level you must be proficient with Excel (Macros Pivot Tables etc) possess solid Sql skills and have experience with Ms Access databases. In terms of the data side of the role you must have strong numeracy skills be able to handle dealing with large data-sets. You will be working as part of a busy team and will need to build strong relationships with team members counterparts business sponsors project stakeholders etc so it is essential that you have strong interpersonal skills. This role would either suit a fresh graduate with a relevant degree and the requisite hard and soft skills or maybe a second jobber looking for a more challenging demanding position.
