Entry level Junior Web Designer (Surry Hills)

A busy boutique web house in Surry Hills is seeking a junior web designer to join our team. The perfect applicant will have experience designing websites for multiple clients but may not have had formal experience in an organization. You may have been designing websites for clients on a part time or informal basis but you must have a portfolio to show your work. You will possess an excellent design ability and be naturally gifted in the area. Ideally you will have some sort of qualification in graphic or web design but if your natural ability is good then formal qualifications are not important. The role is an entry level role and you will be given assignments that will challenge your skills and build new skills and experience. Your role will also include administrative and general duties as all of us in small businesses must do Essential Skills Photoshop Web Design Basics Extensive Knowledge of Html (no Wysiwyg editors) Be Self Directed and motivated Ability to work unsupervised Ability to work to deadlines Customer Sales Focused Required Skills (but not essential) Css 2.0 Php Mysql Ajax The salary package will be consummate with your experience and skills. There is also potential for the right person to be promoted quickly as the company grows in size and employs more people and there is the potential for profit sharing in the future. Above all else you must be passionate about wanting to come and work for us and believe whole heartedly in our vision as we do. We have a small but loyal blue chip client base and service a growing Sme market.
