My client a leading corporate and investment bank is seeking the right person with 2 3 years experience and a blend of development and functional skills to join their team as a Business Support Analyst. Role responsibilities and duties include Gather business requirements and new requests Take part in tactical developments (new applications new risk analysis new trade capture solutions) Improve the release process for tactical software Improve existing processes in order to reduce support time Participate in the primary support of the Interest Rate Derivatives systems Ensure stability of the production environment. Provide a high level of service on supported applications with proper application scheduling. Detect recurring issues and propose enhancements. Monitor and check processes. Communicate with users as problems are raised and advise when resolved Participate in coordinate the roll-out of new systems or upgrades to existing systems Essential skills and experience include A working knowledge of Sql and Rdbms concepts Good knowledge of Vba for Excel Knowledge of C or other Object Oriented Languages A clear understanding of client-server architecture A structured approach to fault finding fault reporting escalation of issues and situation management Basic project management skills Excellent communication and inter-personal skills Exposure to Investment Banking and first hand experience in a team working for Interest Rate Derivatives desk would be advantageous.
