Description
Selous River Camp is a small safari lodge, set up high overlooking the vast Rufiji River and its hippos.Located bordering the Selous Game Reserve safari, this camp, which is known for its friendly and personal service, offers a choice of accommodation - featuring comfortable "mudhut" rooms with en-suite bathrooms and beautiful views over the river or more simple tents for the budget-minded traveller. Guests are treated to meals prepared from fresh local produce and served in a thatched, open-plan dining area, high on the riverbank.
An authentic and intimate Tanzania safari is experienced here, with game drives in open-sided safari cruisers, walking safaris through the Game Reserve and unforgettable boat safaris on the lakes of the Selous and the Rufiji river.
