Overtone, Inc is currently seeking a Director of Operations to oversee A Fight For Fame , a national band competition concert series. We are seeking a candidate with strong managerial background, and the ability to oversee geographically diverse staff on a remote basis. The right candidate will be extremely organized, proficient with project management, tracking and reporting (MS project, excel, etc), and be a very good communicator. The team is a very diverse group of skill sets and talents with a wide variety of personalities, so you must be a people person. Overtone focuses on working as a team, so you must be able to learn how to reach out and work with each member. This is a part time, contract position, and your pay will be largely performance based. As we continue to expand, so will your responsibilities, and also pay. Overtone currently operates in 10 cities, and is looking to expand into 40 cities in a 2 year period. You can largely set your own schedule, with the exception of a weekly meeting directly with the President and the CEO, as well as another weekly meeting with all of the team members you oversee.
