Polar bear - the largest representative of terrestrial predators.Polar bears single animals. As a rule, peaceful under the relation to each other. Adult males can attack bear cubs. The polar bear from other bears is distinguished by a long neck and a flat head. A skin at it black. Colour of a fur coat varies from white to the yellowish; in the summer the fur can turn yellow because of constant influence of a sunlight. It is brought in the Red Book of Russia. Slow reproduction and the big death rate of young growth do this animal open to injury. However now population is considered stable or even growing.
