Fruitful Office is a rapidly growing workplace fruit delivery company looking to employ a fruit packer who is Also willing to be an emergency delivery van driver when required. The role would particularly suit a student with afternoon classes who is available during the morning hours. Packing part You will assist in the preparation of fruit baskets as part of a dynamic and motivated team. You will be someone who gets along well with other people has good attention to quality and likes being part of a growing business. Work hours are from 5.00AM to 8.30AM and punctuality and commitment are very important. This position involves occasionally lifting boxes weighing 10- 15 kgs and you must be able to manage the physical nature of this work. You must also live locally or within a commutable distance (1 bus away) to suit you arriving for these early starting hours must live in SW8 SW9 SW11 SE11. This job could suit students living locally and wanting to earn some extra money or people with a local job to go to afterwards. Driving part On top of this the role involves working 12-14 weeks per year to cover when our existing van driving team are on holidays ill. During these driving weeks the driving will take place from 7 am to 1 pm. For the driving part of this role an excellent knowledge of central London (in particular the City) and previous delivery experience is critical for this role. The driver must be a punctual reliable and a well-presented individual who is physically fit to keep up with the demands of the role. Duties include loading and unloading products and multi-drop deliveries around the central London area. You must be able to work independently learn your routes quickly and organise your deliveries efficiently. In addition you will always be polite and friendly to all our customers. You must have a full UK Eu driving license and be able to drive a medium wheel base van. You must be at least 25 years old (for insurance purposes As soon as an additional full time van driver is required you will have the opportunity to become a full-time driver. Salary The role offers a salary of £6.50 hour for the packing part of the job and £7.50 hour for the driving part. This job is for an immediate start.
