Role A Unique opportunity to work side by side with the entrepreneur in a 3 or 6 month unpaid placement A great opportunity to show off your strategic creative talent build up some invaluable contacts and relationships and lead to a lucrative career opportunity if that s what you are looking for A typical week Researching and writing up media sector developments Attending conferences and networking opportunities (but No selling Supporting deputising for the entrepreneur in meetings Socialising with clients and partners (enjoying the champagne whilst staying focused enough to see the next piece of the jigsaw when it appears) You A highly personable journalism Pr or media student or recent university graduate mba graduate or smart school of life self-starter passionate about learning how to make money in the world of media Him An entrepreneur who has twice pioneered new media channels in the UK and who is looking for an exceptional Intern to help build a new media business Prerequisites You will be organised attentive to detail with demonstrable writing skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook and Power Point) You will also be worldly with a good sense of humour Fluent English is required as is legal status to work in the UK but applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply A laptop is also required as research work can be done from home Casual dress code is acceptable most of the while but you will want to make the effort on occasion Hours The position is flexible and days can be arranged according to your other obligations as long as you commit to a minimum of 2-3 days a week Compensation Frankly very little but that won t be why you are going to apply That said you will never have to pay for a drink or a meal when working and if you make a material contribution to accelerating the business start-up you will be compensated appropriately The business is based in Tottenham Court Rd with most meetings happening there in Soho and Mayfair so you will want to be living centrally Contact If this is you email your Cv a photo a short description of yourself your skills availability interests and most importantly your media business aspirations All candidates applications will be acknowledged Thanks for reading this and if you think this is you get in touch now
