Rivington Street Holdings is a rapidly growing financial services and financial media company. Starting life just 8 years ago with 1 employee we now employ around 50 people in our offices in the heart of the City. We own four subsidiary companies t1ps.com a financial media business which owns 15 investment newsletters and the financial Tv website SharecrazyTV Bishopsgate Communications a leading small cap financial Public Relations company Lion Capital an award winning and third largest Plus markets corporate advisor and finally t1ps Investment Management which recently launched its first fund the t1ps Smaller Companies Growth Fund at the end of 2007. The financial media arm of the business t1ps.com is now looking to recruit an enthusiastic intern for stint over summer 2008. You will be supporting the Senior Writer in compiling high quality articles and analysis on smaller companies for our circa 80000 subscriber base. The position will suit a university student currently entering their second or third year of study. Although the ideal candidate may not necessarily be studying a finance accounting economics or similar degree it would be a significant advantage. However an interest in the financial markets and current business affairs is essential as is a strong command of written English. Full training will be given and you will also have the opportunity to meet the directors of the companies you are writing about. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience in financial journalism and get their foot in the door of the City. There may be further opportunities if the candidate impresses. Working arrangements will be flexible and we will pay travel and lunch expenses.
