I am currently looking at the possibility selling my 1996 328i se saloon. The car is in good overall condition but has recently failed an Mot (20 3 08) and I dont think I am going to have the time to get the work done. The work needing done is as follows Brake light bulb Brake pipes all round 2x front arb bushes rear discs pads 1x tyre Estimated cost including parts labour is circa £400 The car drives absolutely perfectly no knocks from suspension etc. The engine is very smooth pulls very well. New Bosch Battery Feb 08 costing £125 inc receipt. Suspension shocks and springs renewed in the last 4000 miles. As the car is a 328 se the car benefits from a full leather interior which is immaculate. Electric Sunroof Electric windows x 4 Full Trip computer inc mpg average speed etc. The car has been very well taken care of I have a folder full of receipts and history. The car has Fbmwsh until 90k independent after that. Current mileage 116k Mot fail sheet can be provided for proof of work needing done. The car really is great and I will be sorry to see it go but I have recently qualified for a company car so ideally want to sell before getting the new car.
