1965 Morris 1000 Mot and taxed 21, 000 on the clock (Peterhead, Price: £2, 000)

In need of a good home is our Morris 1000 in duck egg blue. It has 21000 miles on the clock with Mots repair bills and Cherished Car Insurance certificates going back to 1985. The Morris is in good condition and had new sills floor panels and boot tray for the last Mot (see pics It s also undersealed so rust is not a problem It s Mot d until August and tax is free The interior is blue leather with blue carpets. Seat belts and a rear view mirror have been installed. The interior fabic suffers no rips or burns. It comes with front Morris 1000 rubber mats. The Morris starts and drives brilliantly with no knocks or bangs or whistles. Having been re-sprayed 15 years ago the paint work is showing little nicks and bits of surface rust here and there but nothing major whatsoever. The chrome could use a good buff up as it s become speckled and the steel wheels are a little speckled orange with rust but that s about it Unfortunately there s no documentation before 1985 and very little after 2000 as the most recent owner before me had his mechanic son service and repair it. Here s a little of what we have. 1991 Welded front n s o s centre rear chassis 2 head lights new battery 1992 Set of blue carpets new rear wing 4x grey draught excluders 2x grey wing piping seat strap 8x window brushes 1993 Welding inner wings centre jacking points replaced 3 outer wings replaced sills replaced floor pans replaced respray car suspension joints arms replaced seat belt fabric repaired 1995 New clutch n s f wheel cylinder 1999 Cleaned and undersealed front wheel baring floor holes welded exhaust manifold and down pipe Overall it s a lovely car and my mechanic has told me it has years in her before anything will need done.
