This beautifully presented B series factory original Rhd 911 S was delivered new on 26-3-69 to Mr. Peter Berger of Notts in the UK. It retains its original chassis number 119300816 engine number 6391160 and delivery papers. It was one of about 50 " B series" 2 liter 911S s delivered to the UK. The car retains its original delivery papers toolkit owners manual factory tinted glass factory fitted radio original rear wiper and optional rear window defroster. The car was brought to Australia in the 1970 s and appears to have covered a genuine 64000 miles. It was " discovered" in the Blue Mountains area near Sydney in 2005. The circumstances surrounding the sale of the car at this time meant that its exact history remains unclear. The owner was able to clarify that they and the previous owner before them had occupied about 30 years of the cars ownership. It had been in storage at a suburban Sydney garage when they bought it in the late 80 s. Its original beautifully maintained condition and subsequent mechanical inspection conformed to the odometer reading. In 2006 it changed hands and its completely rust free body was disassembled and repainted at vast expense in the original Polo red and the interior was reupholstered and recarpeted to the original design colour and materials. The suspension was given new rear shock absorbers front strut inserts nylothane bushes and a wheel alignment. Body seals were renewed and chrome work refreshed. The engine was given a full service tune and compression test by a Porsche specialist. It is now cosmetically perfect everywhere and mechanically as perfect as a 65000 mile correctly maintained Porsche can be. The engine displays no wear or faults. The car is original and correct to the finest detail.
